They voted to waste $730 million in taxpayer money on a new luxury office building for politicians including themselves, which was more than double the cost of renovating the entire state Capitol. Meanwhile, as nearly $1 billion in fraud was uncovered in government programs, politicians like Mark Munger voted to block the government from identifying and cracking down on that waste, fraud and abuse.
